Whether you are visiting for a weekend or mulling a move to our beautiful area, choices abound.

Lyndon is mere minutes away from Burke Mountain and the Dashney Nordic Center, so you can indulge in downhill and Nordic skiing and riding. For a real treat, check out the Lyndon Outing Club, volunteer-run since 1937. Night skiing on “the hill” is a local tradition. There are plenty of wonderful trails for snowshoeing and snowmobiling is available on a well-groomed and maintained VAST Trail network.

The Kingdom Trail Association has miles of 20 miles of trails for fat biking, 15 kilometers of cross country ski trails and the trails are available for snowshoeing as well. All on beautiful Darling Hill. Check out winter hikes and naturalist tours with the Northwoods Stewardship Center in East Charleston or try your luck ice fishing or take a winter hike at Willoughby Lake.
