Join us this April for hands-on classes and workshops designed to bring us all out of our mud-season slumps.

 

Friday, April 6th
Pizza-Making Workshop & Local Beer Tasting with the Pizza Man

Lyndon Outing Club at 1580 Lily Pond Rd., Lyndonville, Vermont

Cooking is always more fun when you share the experience with someone special! Come to this fun workshop to learn how to make your very own pizza from The Pizza Man himself, and taste a selection of local craft beers. In addition to making (and eating) a pizza that evening, you'll go home with a pizza-making kit courtosey of The Pizza Man, including the dough, sauce, and cheese to make a 10" pie at home. For ages 21+ only. No prior experience necessary. Please note that this class size is limited. Advanced registration is required.

Sugar on Snow at LI Sugar House/Alumni Center and Museum Open House

Open House - Alumni Center and Museum in Thompson Cottage on LI's Campus

The Lyndon Institute Sugar House will be open fro touring, serving sugar on snow, and offering samplings of their syrup. In conjunction with the Open House, stop into the Nora Gordon Austin Alumni Center and Museum to view Li's collection of artifacts dating back to the 1870's! Members of Lyndon Institute Alumni Association Board will be available to answer questions, and to reminisce about the school's history and traditions over the last 150 years. The School Store will also be open for your convenience.

Join us for a Paint It Forward FUNraiser to benefit the Lyndon Institute Independence Fund. We will be painting a sugar house scene on sap buckets. This includes all supplies and instruction to complete your masterpiece. For ages 231+ only. Please note that this class size is limited. Advanced registration is required.
